Communion Services

Communion Services

Communion Services at The Church of Living Faith are quiet, powerful pauses in the middle of busy lives - moments where we gather as one body to remember, reflect, and realign. We come to the Lord's Table not out of habit, but with clear understanding of the spiritual principles that Jesus demonstrated in breaking bread and sharing the cup.

As we read from the King James Bible, we explore the meaning of communion: remembering Christ's sacrifice, yes, but also consciously receiving the life, strength, and wisdom that His body and blood represent. We teach that when you take communion with understanding, you are choosing to agree with God's Word about your healing, your forgiveness, and your future.

In each service, Pastor Shelby leads us gently but firmly away from guilt and fear, and into gratitude and victory. You will have time to examine your heart, release old burdens, and forgive yourself and others. Families often stand together, hands joined, declaring that their household is covered by the blood of Jesus and anchored in divine truth.

Our music ministry sets a reverent atmosphere, while ushers and deacons move quietly, serving each person with care. If you are new, we explain every step, so you never feel out of place. If you have been away from church for a while, communion becomes a doorway back into fellowship - with God, and with a spiritual family that receives you with open arms.

Communion Sundays often become turning points. People leave lighter, clearer, and more grounded, with a fresh awareness that they are not alone in their journey. We invite you to join us for our next communion service and experience how this sacred practice can renew your mind, restore your joy, and remind you who you truly are in Christ.
